I just recently came into some sterling silver flatware. The company that manufactured this is WM Rogers Mfg Co With AA at the end. It also has the symbol IS off to the side. Does anyone know how I can identify the pattern and age of this. Thanks IP: Logged |

The company did not make sterling goods, only silverplate (the AA is a code for the plating quality). The IS is for the parent company, International Silver, which WRM helped form in the late 1880s. IP: Logged |

This is silverplate not sterling. The pattern is Jubilee from the early 1950's. This was made for J C Penny Co's 50th anniversary and sold only by Penny's. It is a pretty pattern and stands up well to use. IP: Logged |
