GADAWGFAN Posts: 5 Registered: Sep 2005	posted 09-11-2005 08:27 PM I just recently came into some sterling silver flatware. The company that manufactured this is WM Rogers Mfg Co With AA at the end. It also has the symbol IS off to the side. Does anyone know how I can identify the pattern and age of this. Thanks IP: Logged
wev Moderator Posts: 4121 Registered: Apr 99	posted 09-11-2005 08:49 PM The company did not make sterling goods, only silverplate (the AA is a code for the plating quality). The IS is for the parent company, International Silver, which WRM helped form in the late 1880s. IP: Logged

Dale Posts: 2132 Registered: Nov 2002	posted 09-12-2005 12:17 AM This is silverplate not sterling. The pattern is Jubilee from the early 1950's. This was made for J C Penny Co's 50th anniversary and sold only by Penny's. It is a pretty pattern and stands up well to use. IP: Logged
