I really like this three shallow bowl, but would like it even better if I could trace the maker. It is hard to make out in the pictures and hard to make out the center mark in real life. The top mark is a crown. Under this is the initials C S. Between the C and S is a shield. In the shield is an I don't know. To me it looks like some kind of thistle. The crown has a cross as the center.

Since this post I have seen a clearer picture of the makers mark. Instead of the "thistle" I imagined there, it seems that it is 2 lions, standing and facing each other, a tree between them. Also the C may in fact be a G.
