[26-0956] New here, obviously. I have always been interested in silver. I began a Canadian coin collection about 35 years ago. I have a number of silver pieces as well as older china. Much of this has been from an estate of an aunt that had passed away some 15 years ago. She was also a collector of old things. I felt it was time to date some of my collection. I am a musician of sorts and have some vintage guitars that are quite rare. 1978 Gibson, one of 40 made. 1971 Hagstrom, one of 250 made. All are mint. So, as you can see I love old things, things that are well made and things that are rare. I have always liked silver. Although it does tarnish, it can also last forever. I saved an old Rayo hurricane lamp from the garbage. A little spit and polish and it looks quite nice. I light it every Christmas. If someone could help with info on these pieces I would very much appreciate that. I have two sets. IP: Logged |
