Grosvenor was one of Oneida's powerhouse patterns, made well into the 1950's. It was designed by the president of the Oneida company, Grosvenor Allen. Here is an ad featuring the brand new piece, the cream soup spoon.

A closeup of the place setting, including the mysterious salad knife. I confess I have no idea what that is. Other than it suspiciously resembles the youth knife.

Grosvenor came with a full line of holloware. The salt and pepper are shown in the ad. These are a fairly common item, and a pleasing classical design.

Here is an ad from 1925 that seems a bit anachronistic. It talks about European Royalty owning Grosvenor. This would seem to have been a Victorian custom, rather out of date in 1925.

Because of the size, I had to scan in halvs.
