I recently bought a Epns Poole Silver Company Coffee Set with the #1201 on it. The set includes a Pot, Creamer and a sugar bowl. If anyone could give me some information I would greatly appreciate it.

Your Tea set #1201 is pictured and was sold in Poole's catalog of 1943. "Poole Colonial Tea Service- 4 pieces". " This set is an outstanding example of the Colonial design, and has a gadroon border. It consists of tray, pot , sugar and creamer. Tray is 16" long excluding handles . Pot holds approximately 8 cups. All pieces except tray are silver plated on Nickel Silver. Tray on copper. Bright or butler finish." The World War 2 draft descimiated Poole's work force. Poole turned to old simple designs durning the war to survive as a corporation.
