[26-1370] Hello, Can anyone help identify this mark, I had a hard time capturing a picture of it, so I drew it... I recently started collecting silver dinnerware, I love to go to thrift stores and antique shops, I purchased this lovely ornate platter tray with this mark on it.

Actually those marks are being read Upside down. I too am looking for the maker of this wonderful Tea/coffee Set. It is VERY beautiful. Alas i do not have photos of the teapot itself but i do have a few photos of the markings..
Also.. i know it's hard to see right now BUT the mark above the c is actually a crown. I found the first "M" in some markings from England. My collection has the "claw" feet. I was told that is from the LATE Victorian style period. a guesstimate from the 1800's. The English Marking of the "M" was saying about 1790. Anymore information on this would be helpful!! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Thank you for this reply. I was just excited to get photos on here that i merely wasn't thinking. I was told on another forum that ETON is also known for Making Silverplated items. When i find out mroe information i'll be sure to post it here just encase someone else may have this same question about the same markings. IP: Logged |

Hi Hvnsflnangel. I am a little confused. The photos you posted are from a current auction on the big auction site. Are you saying you are the owner of this set? IP: Logged |
