I recently started collecting silver dinnerware, I love to go to thrift stores and antique shops, I purchased this lovely ornate platter tray with this mark on it. Thanks. IP: Logged

It is VERY beautiful. Alas i do not have photos of the teapot itself but i do have a few photos of the markings.. This mark i used a candle to burn it and made a copy on paper. This next mark is from another forum i belong to and the moderator made a BIGGER impression of it. Also.. i know it's hard to see right now BUT the mark above the c is actually a crown. I found the first "M" in some markings from England. My collection has the "claw" feet. I was told that is from the LATE Victorian style period. a guesstimate from the 1800's. The English Marking of the "M" was saying about 1790. Anymore information on this would be helpful!! ------------------ Another man's trash is another man's treasure!! IP: Logged

I spoke to a dealer that said they had the same teaset and they told me that those MArks were on the teaset. But then my other question would be.. Who's ETON?? I was told on another forum that ETON is also known for Making Silverplated items.
