The WR Keystone mark was used by the William A. Rogers, Ltd. company on low and medium grade silverplate flatware. They began making plated ware in 1894, and were absorbed by Oneida in 1929. I think this mark predates the merger. It was never used on sterling. Date-wise, I would guess 1910-1929, although the pattern is so standard it can't be dated stylistically. The Rani-Ghar Grotto is a lodge of the Grottoes of North America, a fraternal organization made up of Master Freemasons but unaffilliated with Freemasonry proper. The Rani-Ghar Grotto is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You might try to contact them to find out which lodge member walked off with your knife (just kidding!). For more info, check out the Grottoes web site at www.scgrotto.com. IP: Logged |
