[01-0983] Just acquired a old Meriden B Tilting Teapot with a spirit burner mounted underneath the teapot. The question is: What is a good fluid for the burner. Don't want something with an odor ( kerosene or lamp oil ) or lighter fluid or alcohol ( which may scorch the ceiling or my nose ) ! The burner has a vertical unadjustable wick which is inside a 1/4" metal tube. There is only a cap which rotates to snuff out the flame Thanks,
