bamaj1 Posts: 32 Registered: Jul 2002	posted 10-05-2002 05:15 PM Hi, I'm not certain this is correct, but I believe that means the metal parts of your item were put together (soldered) with solder containing silver. It's not a silver alloy, but a construction material. IP: Logged
Torinman unregistered	posted 09-28-2004 11:31 AM I also have a piece from Reed and Barton with the inscription of "Silver Soldered". Below this is the number 2122-S, below this is the number 1P and below this are the initials M.G.R.R. Can any one tell me anything about this silver bowl which is soldered to a silver plate oblong in shape with handles on either side standing about 3" tall. Thanks Torinman IP: Logged
