I purchased these at an estate sale but can not identify the markings, a friend had suggested Reed and Barton. If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it. The markings are FH a bullseye with and arrow in it. S. and a square with EP and NS below the EP. Thank again. IP: Logged |

Hi Well, the EPNS stands for Electro Plated Nickel Silver (that is, Silver Plate). However, I don't think that it's a Reed and Barton piece, as their mark is either "Reid & Barton" or a R in a shield with a Lion on one side and bird of some description on the other. Having said that, I'm not familiar with the mark you describe. Waylander IP: Logged |

HI, I am new to this but is your EPNS in a box that looks like a comic book caption? I have a really old flat bottom spoon with the letters BGLTP in a box next to epns with SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND under it. michele IP: Logged |
