I have an art deco style plate with the hallmark that is a horizontal diamond with a bee in the center and the letter B on both sides of the bee. It has the number 577 below the hallmark. and above the hallmark are the initials e.p. on the left and n.s. on the right. There is some other writing that is not complete and I cannot make out. Can you help me? IP: Logged |

Benedict Manufacturing Company of East Syracuse NY. They were founded in 1894 and made a wide variety of household and restuarant silverplate. They went out of buisiness around 1950. IP: Logged |

The EP NS stands for Electro Plated Nickle Silver which means it is a nickle/copper alloy plated with silver. IP: Logged |
