Caroline13 Posts: 2 Registered: Dec 2004	posted 12-28-2004 09:48 PM [01-2050] I have a four-piece silver set that my Grandmother gave me as a wedding gift. I would like to learn more about them. She says they are from the late 1800's. The marks on the bottom of the tea pot are: L.B.S. CO. a cross, a crown, a shield with a square inside 1486 N.S. The marks on the bottom of the other 3 pieces creamer, sugar bowl and another bowl are the same except they have the number 1485 I think the company is Lawrence B. Smith? What year are they from?
