My daughter uses a little spoon marked "D&A Burmaroid". My father-in-law said that he used the spoon when he was a baby. I want to know something about the spoon. It is white and a little yellow. Which metal? Which country produced it? How many years since it been made? IP: Logged |

" aluminum-silver alloy ... " NO! There is no aluminum and no silver in it. The composition can vary considerably but it will contain somewhere between 40 - 65 % copper ( Cu ) 10 - 40 % zink ( Zn ) 7 - 25 % nickel ( Ni ) plus some very small amount of other metals. There are several combination of these metals that can be polished to shine almost like silver. I hope this is a bit clearer.
