The Sheridan Silver Co. started as the C&C Silver Company by Joseph Caiozzo and Harry Carmody in 1944 and incorporated as the Sheridan Silver Co. in 1946. They were in Taunton Mass. This information comes from the Encyclopedia of American Silver Manufacturers by Rainwater and Redfield Fourth Edition. You take and post great pictures. I ordered the book you referenced the other day and it should be here sometime next week. I think my photos would probably be a bit better if I took them outside in natural light instead of using the flash but it's just too darn hot here in Texas right now to do that. I'm using my old Sony 2mp digital camera that writes to a mini CD. My wife really likes to polish all her silver plate, she'll sit for hours and do it. I'll have some more photos of other items I'll post soon. Chris IP: Logged
