Other than E.P.N.S (Electro Plated Nickel Silver) stamped into these there are not makers marks that we can find anywhere. Some have said this was made in India because of the feet. I figured I'd post it here for the experts to look at and give me a determination as to where it was made. These photos show it looking a bit tarnished as my wife hasn't had a chance to clean it in awhile. It takes her longer on this set because she does it a bit different than just using silver polish on it.

It doesn't look like it is tarnished. It looks as if the thin silver plating has been polished away (the silver is gone except in the pattern areas). If you really like the set, you could have it re-plated. IP: Logged |

Thanks Scott, it is a pretty set even if we don't know who made it or from what country. I'll see if I can get my wife to agree after I do some research on places to get that done. Chris IP: Logged |

Chris, May I ask what your wife uses to polish the pieces? Jersey IP: Logged |

When we first got it and found out what E.P.N.S stood for we looked up how to clean it. This is what we found and how she does it. Washes with lukewarm water and phosphate and scent free dish soap and a soft cloth IP: Logged |
