[26-2385] Found an apparently old, silver plate tray from Poole. Not looking to sell or value, and not a collector, just want to know what we have. It has "quadruple plate" and Poole Silver Taunton, Mass on the back, with the number 12 above and 94 below. It is possible it was part of a tea serving set from the early 1900's (have some other pieces). Image and close up of mark below. Can anyone tell me what the numbers 12 & 94 mean?
Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thx.

Welcome to the Silver Salon Forums. There are many posts at the Silver Salon Forums about Poole Silver (click here) Your tray is or once was silverplate. Over the years the silverplate can be polished off. Trays were often part of a tea/coffee set. Perhaps a member with the Poole catalog will have the time to look it up? IP: Logged |
