I'd like to volunteer for this project. This posting is in reply to the Carlez's message in the topic: "Project Idea-- A list of silver collections" posted in the General Silver Forum where I'm not authorized to post yet.
quote: What about MS, TN, & AR? They/We are considered SE and locally referred to as the Mid-South. I'm located in the Memphis, TN metropolitan area - NW corner of MS. I could help in these states. I know of at least 1 permanent collection in Memphis that may qualify, Adler Pewter Collection at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens The The National Ornamental Metal Museum in Memphis has exhibits and shows on jewelry and silver. The Memphis Brooks Museum of Arts has permanent collections of American and European Decorative Arts that include silver also. Again, I'm willing to help in my little corner of the world that covers the states of MS, AR and TN. --- Susan IP: Logged |
