My father purchased a small "box" (believed to be a jewelry box) some 30 years ago for my mother. It has the Meriden B co 7 on the bottom along with an engraved date of nov 29 and some other illegible script. Can you please help date the piece

Hi and welcome to the forum!

The Nov 29 engraving sounds like it is some kind of anniversary or birthday or such. Does that date have any particular significance to your parents?

If you could please take a look at the big yellow box near the top of the page where is says in flashing red letters 'Please read before you post' and add the requested information on the 'why' of your post and photos to your post we will try to help you.
