Sorry, trying again-third try. Same topic. The mark is on a silverplate tray circa 1870s. Similar tray to 5060 by Meriden Britannia in the 1867 catalog. It looks like a double headed eagle in a shield cartouche. The 26 is the size. Here's the link (last one didn't work).
