I thought I would share my "new" display piece. Its kinda like a wooden Riker mount box. It was given to me by the owner of a store where I work part-time since it had been left by someone selling their silver. It is perfect for my collection of spoon pins. After the pics, I have 2 questions. I plan on arranging the spoons in chronological order. Now for my 2 questions:

Be sure that whatever you use does not have any sulfur in it. That will tarnish your silver very quickly. Also, anything with rubber and some kinds of felt or wool, and even some kinds of treated cotton can contain chemicals that will accelerate tarnish. If the seller of the products you plan to use does not know if they contain chemicals that cause tarnish you may want to keep a close eye on your silver to see if it starts to tarnish quickly in the box.
