I have 12 Wallace [marked RW & S with Elk head] five o-clock spoons in the Violet patterns. They have what appears to be a stamped monogram of "AS". When I weighed each piece, the gram weights varied and ranged from 14.7 to 16.1. Is this normal? What causes the variation in weight?
