Hello, I am a newcomer to your website. I'm in New York and my interest in silver is rather limited to those silverplate pieces which I already own and use for entertaining. My reasons for posting are to find out some information about a family heirloom from Europe. It's a Fraget silverplate pattern (marked Fraget BM Plaque) that my husband's great-grandparents bought in 1900-1910 in Austria or Prague (according to family lore). Later, they carried it out of Europe to the USA when they evacuated the Ukraine in WWII. It's been subdivided among the family, and I am interested in finding additional pieces for the table. However, no one is yet able to identify the pattern. I have searched your posts AND contacted Hefra to no avail. Any thoughts?
