My name is Hester & I used to be on this forum around the turn of the century as M H Bradshaw but seem to have lost that username when the registration method changed; I've collected Victorian & Art Nouveau sterling flatware for the past 25 years.

My question today involves a possible connection between Wilkens & Sohne and Wollenweber.

I have several serving pieces in a Jugenstil pattern featuring a crocus design, all with the 800, reicht mark, & 'telephone' hallmark for Wilkens. [snip] there are place pieces in the same pattern without the Wilkens stamp, but 'WOLLENWEBER' in all caps.
I'm guessing Wollenweber was the retailer, but why no Wilkens stamp?

M H Bradshaw is still a active registered user....
We still have the same registration method in use since the beginning.

I am guessing you don't remember your password and can't retrieve the password for M H Bradshaw because you changed your old email address without updating your user profile

It's been a long time ago - & for some reason I thought everyone had to re-register or new passwords, or something - but I think about the same time, my computer crashed & I didn't have internet for awhile & in the mean time, my email provider had been bought out & old address discontinued. When I tried to change my profile I had no access to my old email address so couldn't retrieve password.

No matter, I'm back - & retired so have more time to dedicate to my silver addiction.
