Marcie1 Posts: 3 Registered: Nov 2017	posted 11-07-2017 12:09 PM I would so appreciate anyone's help.I am a retired museum curator who is doing some independent projects for people in our community in Toledo, Ohio. I am helping a 93 year old lady who has inherited a good many Korean art objects, including a silver bowl. I am researching the silver bowl with high repousee of chrysanthemums that is thought to be Korean, given to an American official around 1895. It has in Chinese characters "solid silver" and those marks are fine. But above the marks in Chinese is the word BISAMSHA - does anyone have an idea what this might mean? I have searched high and low and cannot find this word listed anywhere! Thanks for any help!! I will try to upload a picture of the bowl to the forum.
