My wife and I have inherited quite a few pieces from the Grandparents. My grandfather was in the estate jewelry, gold/silver business for 50+ years and saved almost everything he purchased as scrap. He didn't have the heart to melt down these pieces including english and american serling tea/coffee services, sterling trays, flatware sets, sterling compotes and plateaus, and many other sterling and plated pieces of interest. We have added quite a few pieces and enjoy purchasing items of interest or filling out missing pieces of sets. I look forward to learning all I can!! IP: Logged

Too many beautiful and artistic silver objects have been lost to the world by that route over the years. I look forward to seeing some of these things in your posts in the future.
