Dear all, My name is Nathan and I currently reside in Dallas, TX. I've used your website for quite a few years, both in personal collection and business ventures. It was very gratifying that I could translate my passion(s) for decorative arts into a career as a specialist for Heritage Auctions. However, as we all know, being in the "biz" spurns the collecting bug all the more! I mainly collect 19th century American figural silver, with a separate interest in William Gale's work. I want to thank everyone in the community for sharing their knowledge and experiences, many of which are clues and solved mysteries that you can't find anywhere else. I think academia is such an important part of collecting, and look forward to contributing in any way possible. [This message has been edited by nathanatheritage (edited 07-16-2018).] IP: Logged |

Welcome to the forums! I too love the figural 19th century American silver, however Gorham happens to be my favorite. IP: Logged |
