I've been interested in silver antiques for 20 years or more. I love the mystery this particular piece offers! I have several interesting stainless Oneida vintage pieces I use every day. It's been a long time hobby of mine to find antique and vintage silver and rehabbing them. I know its sectional silverplate but the pattern is unusual. Any ideas anyone? IP: Logged |

quote: Most of the research I've done is online but i would love to get my hands on a paper copy of a Meridan Britannia Catalog. I'm not seeing anything in the commonly listed Silverplate flatware of the time. 1840-70 roughly. The sectional rogers 12 flatware I've seen Is a very small catalog of flatware. And I do believe at the time the patent in the sectional flatware was bought or shared with Meriden. There was a legal dispute. The pattern reminds me of the Meridan Flatware of the era that I saw.
