Hi everyone - I am a new member - hi! I collect jewellery and currently own this lovely solid piece of 830s silver. It is very decorative but I cannot track the country or maker - the mark is a T in two different sorts of shapes, one like a shield. Can anyone shed any light on the maker/country/age of this item? Many thanks! [This message has been edited by Scott Martin (edited 07-02-2020).] IP: Logged |

Hi that's really helpful. I uploaded this picture to show the whole thing. Do you have any idea of age? Thanks again! [This message has been edited by HelenU (edited 07-02-2020).] IP: Logged |

My guess would be "recent vintage". Here is a similar one enameled:

I would guess that this piece dates from the 40s or so, a time when that style of wide panel bracelet was popular. You can see some Art Deco influence in the design and imagery. Scott's bracelet is conceptually similar but a bit later (note the sterling instead of earlier 830 silver standard), probably 50s. Your bracelet appears to show 2 scenes from Norse legend or history. A clear photo of the 2 different designs might enable somebody to tell you exactly what is depicted. [This message has been edited by Paul Lemieux (edited 07-03-2020).] IP: Logged |

Hi - I have identified it as Wedding Parade. You can see the bride riding on the horse with the fiddler and then with her husband. There are lots of brooches with this but not many bracelets. Is Thune a collectable maker? Just wondering on price.... Many thanks for your help. IP: Logged |
