Hello SSF peoples...just a quick post to introduce myself et al. I live and work in the Australian Outback. Normally it's hot and dry, right now it's warmish and dry (I believe winter will be on Thursday this year). My interest in all-things-silver goes back a few decades, but up until now have not have the means or the access to indulge the passion. Have a goodly number of pieces handed down, and am slowly putting the family silver canteens back to their original complements and condition. Joined these forums as I have a couple of items that I have spent *hours* trying to ID, and it's driving me nuts. Hoping that some learned soul will be able to allay the frustration. :-) Thanks, and as it's July 2020; stay safe (and stay happy)! IP: Logged |
