Here is another piece from my father-in-law’s collection. The tray is from Portugal as dates between 1886 & 1938 based on the hallmark (boar wirh II). It is hard to see in the photo below, bur I see a “C/wine glass/A” as the makers mark. Here are some pictures of it.
I think it is a really nice piece and any help with the maker would be greatly appreciated. sp ------------------ IP: Logged |

Very attractive tray. I cannot answer your question directly; but identification of silversmiths from Portugal (Help me identify Portuguese Silversmiths) came up before and the poster solved his question by asking a Portuguese Auction house.
