Found this tea set some time ago and just bought it because I thought it was cool. Cant find any markings or been able to find another one like it. Found some similar but not quite the same. It appears the side screw off. Anyone have an idea as to what it is?! Thanks

Thanks for posting. I have never seen a tea set like this. Perhaps the design was meant to mimic the port holes of a ship? Interesting design. IP: Logged |

Not sure, as I said I know little about tea servings but I thought it was unique and interesting and it was priced right! Would love to know more about its possible origins but it appears even on here no one knows much about it! IP: Logged |

Any marks? Close-up photos would help. IP: Logged |

No marks that I have found. What close ups are you looking for? IP: Logged |

Manufacturers are most often proud of their work and include some sort of identifying marking. Many countries require marks to distinguish between Solid Silver, Silver Plate and non silver/silver plate (ie. Alpaca). If there are marks the marks could be very small and require a closeup photo to be seen. IP: Logged |

A Google search for Art Deco results in similar designs in the 1920s & 1930s time period. This may help narrow your search. IP: Logged |
