I found a fun mention in yesterday's Wall Street Journal Magazine about a spoon designed by famed chef Gray Kunz in the 1990's. Favored by top chefs, the stainless steel spoon is hefty enough to crack crab claws while it's tapered edge bowl facilitates saucing and it's shorter, narrower handle makes it easier to hold and control. It's nice to see that spoon design is still evolving. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Kunz issued a gold finished version.
