The family of Peter and Jonathan Warden immigrated from Glasgow (Greenock's just down the River Clyde), Scotland through the Port of New York with the final destination Vermont on 19 September 1842 aboard the ship Ambassador. Peter L Warden is found in the 1850 U S Federal Census for Haverhill, New Hampshire with Henry Towle as a jeweler and again in the 1860 U S Federal Census for Tallahassee, Florida as a jeweller. Joseph is listed as a jeweller in Bradford, Vermont in the U S Federal Cenus's from 1860 to 1910. IP: Logged |
