I am trying to locate coin silver marked with the name Hequembourg or C.H. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is my family name. Thanks, IP: Logged |

Hello Laura, The only fact I can give that his full name was Charles Hequembourg and he was silversmith, born in 1760 and died on 25.02.1851. So the pieces are rather old, can you send us a photo for showing the object and can you tell us (like I hopefully understood it well?) that you are family relatif from this silversmith? It should be great to inform us more if you can. I will search for more information or meanwhile I hope there are more reactions. IP: Logged |

Second opinion. There is a lot of information to be found, there is also a topic by Scott Martin dated 05-09-2006. In this topic are mentioned more Hequembourg's(silversmiths). You can also try the search function of this Forum. [This message has been edited by silverhunter (edited 06-25-2008).] IP: Logged |
