[26-1677] I have a set of these Art Krupp Berndorf goblets??? These goblets have a round base and about a 4 inch stem that attaches to a bowl which has a insert (hole drilled in the bottom). They have separate heavy glass bowls with a short stem that fits into the insert in the bowl of the goblet. Can anyone tell me what these are called and what they were originally used for. I can only guess that they are some kind of dessert goblets. Thanks Thanks IP: Logged |

Hi! First off I think you meant to say Berndorf. I believe what you are describing are called Sherbert's. No reason you couldn't put anything you want in it, ice cream, fruit, etc. They are great as far as easy to clean, but be careful with those inserts, as they come in various patterns are hard to match & not all fit together unless properly matched with the right maker. Enjoy! Jersey [This message has been edited by jersey (edited 06-23-2008).] IP: Logged |
