Hi, I am on what feels like a quixotic search for DOWRY sterling flatware (1930s). Often called Oneida Dowry, but there is no Onieda mark (though it looks much like other pattens of theirs)- Just DOWRY then (little logo that looks like a State Map of New Jersey) then STERLING. A rather nondescript pattern, not terribly heavy or impressive, but I got caught up in the emotion of trying to complete a set for my son and his fiancee for their wedding... set was started pre-WWII by my grandmother, who stopped at some point. Sentimental... Any help you can offer would be appreciated. If you can add me to your Want List, that would be great. I am almost ready to bag the whole thing and let them get their own silver!! Thanks a bunch, IP: Logged |
