Hello everyone. I'm a new member to the forum and this is my first post. I'm interested in purchasing J. Kurz and Co. (Johann and son, Karl) silver made in Hanau, Germany (Johann Kurz is my great-greatgrandfather, Karl is a great-great uncle )and I'm also interested in buying silver made by the Dingeldein family (August, Otto, and Karl) in Germany and America. Any biographical information of these silversmiths would also be greatly appreciated. I was planning a trip to New Orleans to see the Dingeldein collection of silver masters in the New Orleans Historical Collection and then Katrina changed my plans. Even if you're not interested in selling, I would love to have a photo of any silver pieces made by the Kurz or Dingeldein firms. Since I have sentimental reasons for buying, I'm willing to pay above-market prices if I can afford to. :-) Thanks so much. This is a wonderful forum. ------------------ IP: Logged |
