For sale an Edwardian sterling silver pipe rack hallmarked London 1907 and made by George Betjemann & Sons. Nice example. The piece measures 5.75" in length x 2.75" in width x 3.375" in height. The pipe rack weighs 2.95 ounces on my jeweller's scale. The piece is monongrammed PMB and it is clearly hallmarked with the Betjemann maker's mark, lion passant for sterling, leopard head for London and date letter "M" for 1907. The pipe rack is in very good condition with a slight bend noticeably from the side. George Betjemann was founded in 1851 and became George Betjemann & Sons in 1858. The firm was converted into a Ltd. in 1909 and was purchased by Puddlefoot, Bowers, Simonett Ltd in 1939. I am asking $205 plus shipping. Email me if you need more pictures of the piece.
