I'm looking a what is stated to be a Dutch sterling piece with the following hallmarks:
The seller indicates they represent Dutch sterling, made 1911, maker Van Kempen. Is this correct (most importantly, is this lion passant mark indeed the Dutch sterling mark for this period?)? Thanks in advance for any info!!! Rick IP: Logged |

The lion standing on 3 legs with numeral 2 below is the .833 silver standard mark used 1814-1953. IP: Logged |

Thanks for the info, wev. BTW, is there available a simplified text showing the most common continental hallmarks? I have Wyler, but it's tough to plow through it to find a needle in a haystack for the continental marks. Thanks!
