I recently bought what looks to me to be a picture frame,it has a crest at the top of what looks like the coat of arms of Bourbon France. With decorations next to the crst of Caduses and snakes, trailling down the sides are sprays of roses and other flowers. It measures 9 X 10, on the back it has three marks inside a cartouche the head of a man facing to the right, a crown with in an obal and a maltese crown inside a circle, the cartouche the marks rest on is slightly raised above the back. Has any one come across this mark, if you have or have any ideas as to the country of origing [snip ....SM]. Thank you IP: Logged |

I had hoped by this time that someone would have been able to answer your question. However, since they have not, I would suggest that you might want to post a picture of the piece, as well as of the marks. More often than not a picture is worth a thousand words! ;-D ------------------ IP: Logged |
