A small box, possible for postage stamps, circa 1920 (?), 57x50x10mm has a partial name of "?ltenspe?". Have been thru all the possible combinations as a town or personal name but to no avail The dealer purchased it Switzerland. Am hoping someone can fill in the missing letter and to identify either the maker or place of origin. Thanks, in anticipation! IP: Logged |

The only possibility I can think of is 'Baltensperger' who, I believe, was a Swiss manufacturer of holloware during the 2nd Q 20thC, but I have no detailed information. P.S. I just did a search and found one item being claimed as '1920' and one '1965' so that widens the range a bit. Hope it helps!
