It LOOKS like an English mark, but I don't find the key touch anywhere among provincial British marks. Could it be an electroplate maker mimicking sterling marks? HH makes me think of Hukin & Heath, a famous electro plate maker--but I don't really know. Any other clues out there among the silver collectors world? It's hard to identify anything without pictures--but I don't know how to input pictures either... IP: Logged |

It could be Dutch. It would be helpful if you could describe the shape of the various punches. Can you describe the item? [This message has been edited by Willie (edited 05-22-2001).] IP: Logged |
