Looking to ID this silver mark on a 1940s German ring.. It sometimes has a F and a star with it. Thanks , G. IP: Logged |

Looks similar to the mark of Jakob Lenz Nachfolger (Jakob Lenz Successors) of Pforzheim listed in a German 1924 Jeweler's Yearbook I have. IP: Logged |

Thank you very much! Sometimes the mark is with the letter F and then a Star..Sometimes I see just the F star by themselves on a 1940s ring,,anything in your book on that?? Thanks again! , G. IP: Logged |

The "F" & star mark (in a rounded rectangle) is listed in the same 1924 Yearbook as that of F. Frey & Co. of Pforzheim, Jewelry & Silverware manufacturers. IP: Logged |
