In the year 1870 the firm had 63 employees and participated with big success in national and international exhibitions. 1877 Postnikov became Courtjeweler. The firm existed until 1917 (revolution!). An anonym piece of silver begin to speak if you can understand what it has to say, when you know for what it was used, by whom it was made, where and when. Suddenly there is a whole fascinating story revealed. And if you dig a little into history you realise that you are very lucky to get this piece in spite of the many progroms, vandalism, stupidity, ideologies and ignorance surrounding it for over hundred years.
