I have tentatively identified this piece as German 800 silver, Bruckmann & Sohne, Heilbron, post 1888. Can anyone confirm or correct this id and help narrow the date? I had trouble getting a clear image of the hallmark, particularly the eagle in a circular crest. The other marks are clearly the crescent moon, crown and number 800. Thanks,

Well, I can't find the pattern number or name, but it sure looks like one of Bruckmann's excellent Jugendstil/Art Nouveau patterns ca. 1900-1910. IP: Logged |

Thanks Blackstone. Would you believe the seller listed it as coin silver? Tom IP: Logged |

Quite easily. Recently I came across an online auction listing that had me in hysterics: "Period Biedermeier Art Deco Teapot" Huh? IP: Logged |

Did Bruckmann also make plate. I recently saw a set marked "Bruckmann 90 18." No, I am not buying or selling it. Thanks, IP: Logged |
