Dear Friends, I acquired this pink enameled silver gilt spoon at the same time as the niello spoon previously listed, but I know absolutely nothing about this spoon - not even the country of origin. I am posting it here because I do not associate enamel work with American or English silversmiths, but rather with continental or Russian artisans. The three marks are "925", a "S" in a hexagon(?), and a trident/thunderbolt(?) Here are photos (I hope!) Any information about this spoon would be much appreciated. Thanks. Russell IP: Logged |

Hi Russell! I believe the mark on your beautiful spoon is that of a Norwegian maker David-Andersen 1924-39. If you do an online search for him I'm sure you will find his marks listed. Hope this helps. Enjoy the spoon & the day. Jersey IP: Logged |
