Recently I found a very high quality French sterling & 18k dog's head motif bangle bracelet. The maker's mark is A B & Cie over a cog or gear shape. I couldn't figure out who A. B. & Company is. Can anybody help? I'll post pictures tonight or tomorrow. IP: Logged |

Could be Arthus Bertrand et Cie., jeweler and goldsmith, established in 1911 in Paris on the Rue de Rennes. The cogwheel should have a star on top if it is Bertrand. IP: Logged |

Thanks, Kayvee! I spent about 2 hours trying to figure it out. Which reference did you use?

Thanks for showing these lovely bracelets. Such lifelike modeling! I'd love to tell you that I knew the mark all along, but in fact I consulted the French Ministry of Culture website for marks. IP: Logged |
