I would be grateful if anyone could help me identify this ladle. It has on the back the Copenhagen Assay of 3 Towers and the number 14, It has the Assayer's initials of C.F. Heise It also has a FJH - Which I think is F.J. Hingelberg-Aarhus
Any ideas? It is approximately 13 inches long. Thanks in advance. IP: Logged |

Sounds like it might be the mark for "Dansk Arbejde" (Danish works or workmanship). If so, it's actually a hammer with "D" and "A" to the sides of the handle. Believe it was some kind of government program to promote locally made goods. Cheryl ;o) [This message has been edited by dragonflywink (edited 03-07-2005).] IP: Logged |
