Help, I have a pair of silver salts with the marks 710MMET 4/p50K on the bottom. I have no idea what these mean.

They are 2-1/4" across and 1-1/4" high with glass inserts.

Can anyone help?

Thank you
Karen

I have seen a similar mark, if not the same, on part enamelled salts that possibly originate from later 20th century Russia and are plated.
A pic would help.

Posting pictures would definitely help, but my mother has collected salts for many years and this sounds like some that she has. Believe they are Russian, made of a silver plated nickel-based alloy (Melkhior?), and seem to date from around the 1950s-'70s. She has several different enamel designs and one without enamel. There's a spoon that comes with them, usually the same pattern, regardless of the design of the salt.
