lagerlout1 Posts: 8 Registered: Feb 2003	posted 02-19-2003 07:11 PM Hey all, I have another piece of "silver" here.. Firstly I do not know what it is, but it looks as if it is an old oil lamp? There is no lid to be found... it measures about 5.5" tall to the top of the horses head. it is only marked twice. There are many mythological themes and motifs on this small piece. I have included pictures and my wonderful artistic rendition of each. Is it Silver? Silverplate? Old? Newer? Don't worry everyone. This piece and the French piece that started a debate are the only two pieces I own, so I will not be hounding the experts of this board.. Take a look! IP: Logged
